Our Coaching time together is a Judgement-Free Zone.
Why do you need a "Holistic" Health Coach? Because you are whole person. My coaching emphasis is Nutrition, but reaching your Goals is about so much more.
My personal and professional approach to True Wellness is in the 3 Ms: the Mind (are you at peace?), daily Movement (are you moving your body daily?), and Food as Medicine (in addition to taking any meds as prescribed by your doctor, are you fueling your body with life-giving food, and supplements as needed?)
I'm so passionate about the whole person approach to life and coaching, that I've taken extensive courses in Herbal Medicine and Botanical Consulting, in addition to my Health Coaching Certification by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.
As a Veterinarian since 2012, I follow an evidence-based therapeutic approach with my patients. And now as a Certified Health Coach, I follow the Nutrition guidelines for my clients as set forth by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, which state:
"For the treatment, reversal, and prevention of lifestyle-related chronic disease, ACLM recommends an eating plan based predominantly on a variety of minimally processed vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds."
Note: You do NOT have to be vegan/vegetarian to benefit from my coaching.
Weight Loss is often a pleasant side effect when you follow a healthy Plant-Based diet, and I can show you how!
And lastly, as a reminder, this coaching is just for YOU, the human(s). No veterinary advice will be given. But know this - when you get healthier (aiming to eat healthier, stay active within your abilities, and maintain a positive outlook), the whole family wins, including the pets! This has been a recurrent observation in my career.
Disclaimer: I'm not a Doctor (for humans), nor a Dietitian. I do Not Prescribe, Treat, or create Meal Plans for you. If you have special dietary needs or are changing your eating plan, especially if you are Diabetic or on Blood Pressure medication, please consult with your Doctor. Blood sugar and blood pressure often improve with a move toward more of a healthy plant-forward diet. This may require adjustments to your medication.
