These may not look like chicken wings, but dipped in Buffalo sauce they are wholesome way to satisfy a Buffalo craving on game day. I don’t typically use a lot of margarine, but you’re eating a cruciferous vegetable in place of meat, so live a little with the sauce!

Who said you can't make a dinner out of dips? Not me!
This is great for a night at home watching a game, or as part of a larger salsa bar.

What I love about this versatile recipe is that you can eat the Black Bean Dip as is with some tortilla or pita chips... -OR-... add a few ingredients and turn the base recipe into Black Bean Burgers! These burgers are a lighter but filling alternative to a beef burger, and they also stick together much better than other black bean burger recipes I've tried.

This recipe is a bit of a fusion, inspired by the traditional Native (North) American planting practice of growing squash, beans (I took some liberty in using pintos instead of green beans), and corn together, while incorporating South American style Chimichurri in place of salsa.
